After an extensive tender process AMSE has been nominated to provide the structural steelwork for the new €30m Wexford Opera House.

The new home to Wexford Festival Opera will generate up to 25 full and part-time jobs, while providing a unique facility for the Performing Arts in Ireland presenting opera, theatre and dance. It will also provide much needed facilities for regionally based music and theatre groups. The main theatre will accommodate 750 theatre goers and will include a second performance space for smaller events. The development is seen as a major boost for the Arts, the local economy and Wexford's tourism industry.

AMSE, in partnership with Cleary and Doyle Contracting and Arup Consulting, has devised an efficient steelwork programme that will ensure optimum project delivery. The AMSE operations team is currently involved in logistical planning for the delivery of the large trusses to the confined town centre site, located where the old Opera House had previously stood.
