The iconic shape of the theatre, with Libeskind’s signature geometric cuts in the structure’s envelope provides a challenging project in terms of steel fabrication and erection.

AMSE will fabricate some 750 tonnes of steel for the project, which will be erected in seven separate phases.

SISK are main contractors on the project, and are working alongside structural engineers ARUP, architects Daniel Liebskind/McCauley Daye O'Connell/RHWL, and cost consultants Davis Langdon PKS on the scheme. The steelwork element of the project is set for completion in 2009.
